Our islands of Okinawa

Today is the 40th anniversary since U.S. returned Okinawa islands. Okinawa sacrificed for 40 years after the World War II for Japan. I say it is really a time to return the land to Okinawan people.

Unfortunately, Okinawa has slightest hope to go back to where it was years ago. We have suffered so much since the U.S. military arrived. There were many problems we needed to accept and deal. On the other hand, we gain some benefits over years. Learning English from the U.S. citizens and sharing the cultures.

After the war, actually, more than Japanese people from Japan, American people were friendly and supported us on food and provided us with milk products. On this subject, my grand grand mother has told me that the Americans were nicer than the Japanese and that’s sad. I guess we call this a “war”.

When my second sister was born, the Okinawa islands were returned to Japan. The other day, when I was watching the documentary T.V. show, an old man has said, “I was working for the U.S. military and learned English from the Americans. They supported my family to become successful.” Up to which point, I would like to ask. Now a day, the military workers are more on the younger generations and they are here to have fun and relax.

Since the economy has dropped its numbers rapidly over the years, the American culture has been also suffering and I can’t see the better side of U.S. militaries. I hope they will prove they are here to protect and understand Okinawan people at least before going back to their own homeland. The girl’s pub and night clubs are not the only place we have in Okinawa. We have so much more to tell but who do the negotiation parts when no one is there to stand up to show that we want to shake hands after all they did and yet, we have a bigger heart to accept what’s coming. I would like to see the positive side at the end of the tunnel.

I hope you will have some thoughts over the return of Okinawa. We all should be proud and continue to love our lovely island of Okinawa.

Mahalo and see you soon on Thursday!

I am back!!
I was obviously, very very busy recently but now! I am settled and able to write the blog again!!

Oh, I am on cloud nine after all my complicated real estate translation jobs from Tokyo! I am super relieved from all the stress and tension which I couldn’t take it almost but yes, of course, I survived and here I am now!

Well, my documents which is confidential so I can’t give names but it was on real estate. The decent landowner who wants to sell their property to the potential buyers. I thought I do this translation for the first time but when I think back, I did it for my parents also.

Well, however, it was not easy to translate anyway because when the company for the agent changes, all the laws and regulations changes. It took me a while to figure things out but since I have a great concentration, I done it in 2 days!! Phew, that was a hassle…

I wanted to let them know that it can be done on time and not on the time they specify but the time I specify. They usually give me about a week to finish but I want to finish as soon as possible including all the reviews though. Although if you finish the job fast, it doesn’t mean anything if the work is not complete or rough. It should be done as the same as it is expected.

My work for today is done and I am going to class in a while and eat a big dinner!! I am sure after work, I will be hungry!!!

See you soon all again!

The truth and the fabrication

Which would you believe?

I don’t actually know what the actual truth is in the governmental system. Since the representatives have used our pensions for their own luxury commodities and what not, I do not know who to turn to.

In the U.S., we have several forthright public speakers. Their jobs are to articulate citizen’s thoughts to the senate and the governmental members. What I can understand from the Japanese law is that, if there is no evidence and the defendant doesn’t know the fact they have committed the crime, they are free to go.

I am also discussing on the subject on the accident that happened several days ago. The person has driven the car without the license. I thought it is a crucial crime but no, it is not. Since he is under age, maybe he is going to be accused of accidental infliction of injury, homicide but still, he is sentenced for less than 7~8 years. Is it right, really? I don’t think this law is not very practical in use in this age. If the law works as to say, an eye for an eye rules, he should be in the death penalty. How can anyone deal with someone who drove the car with no license and killed 2 people including several injured children? No one will accept him as a person anymore. Even though he comes out of the prison, he is treated as dirt, I am sure. I believe all men should be responsible for their own act. If so, the age doesn’t actually matter.

How well did you all take in on this incident and how this will be served? It also goes for the representative.

Many issues are in the public and we do should be able to discuss on this issues publicly and freely. We are not pure Japanese anymore. We do have some of the aggressiveness in us because of the western influence which is of course good.

Think of the outcome and let’s think what the righteous solutions to all this issues are.

Mahalo for today and have a great Thursday evening!

Thinking about the past…

Good afternoon, everyone!
Today, I would like to discuss on the topic of our past.
How do we feel about the past? Do you want to go back to our past? Do you not wish to go back to our past? Where does all our past history stay in our brain?

It is in our inner brain and in this particular area called hippocampus and it stores all the information you have in your brain which could be new and old.

In this particular place of the brain, if the hippocampus exercise week, then you could have dementia and many more confound brain damages. In order to have a good memory and preserve the brain system, it is always good to talk about it with others. Although some people are shy, the diary is one of the ways to help them speak their mind freely.

Today, one of the greatest thing people can do is to “dream” at night. The dream is very interesting and it is one of the fascinating subjects we get into next time but tonight, I want you to right your dream down if you can remember and discuss on that topic. It can be quite mesmerizing experience.

It is always good to downreaching into your own inner core self to ask what is the real truth for yourself and what will make you to move your feet to reach one step. I am telling you, you’ll like this exercise. Why? Because we will be discussing on what is going on with you. It is not always bad to talk about yourself. Of course, you need to let the others talk also but let yourself out in the field so you can see the bottom of your stomach.

Well, see you soon again on Thursday and have a lovely Tuesday afternoon!

A great hotel in Onna-village

Good evening! How is the day treating you all, my fellow students?
I am good and more than good! My day is going unspeakably good in a sense of human relationship.

By the way, I would like to talk about the Hotel I stayed in Onna-Village. It was Marriot Resort in Okinawa. Oh, the view from the 14th floor was priceless. You could not believe how gorgeous it was! Not only that, they had a small lanai on the outside. Right next to the lanai, there is a convenient sofa inside the room so we can watch the night view without feeling the chillness of the night.

This was a special offer from the hotel Vice-CEO and of course, the floor was for the executives. They had their own checkout desk in front of the elevator. The clerks were of course, extremely well-served. We are the very important people (VIP) so of course, their service must be close or perfect to 100%.

The room, the service, and the atmosphere of the room, and the view satisfied me very well. I may be one of those incredibly awkward and strange people but I need to still state what I need to say. I believe the bell-boy at the front desk made us feel as if he was just serving customers. In other term, he is treating us as if we are “regular” customers. Once again, I am emphasizing on the topic of VIP room service.

Although he was serving some other people before and maybe he was tired from the morning shift, the people who are in our position, the room, and the customers should be treated better than any other people. Why? Because this will be out in the public for his drawback. The word of mouth is one of the hybrid information roots of all time. Therefore, even ourselves, we need to behave well in order to be treated well by others.

This hotel experience has engendered my awakening for the true nature of how human being should act at certain situation.

I would like to bolt my vault for today.
Mahalo and have a tender evening.

105 years old!!!

Good evening, everyone!
How are you doing? I hope everyone is doing great!
Today, I would like to talk about longevity. He is my husband’s grandfather’s father. He is 105 years old!!

The strangest thing is that he was in a critical condition this past weekend. The doctor told the relatives to gather all the families because it might be the last chance to see him.

However, somehow, he survived through the critical condition and got better with his health. Furthermore, he is now a healthy grand-grandpa again! What a life! He must have an unfinished business in this world…

I wonder… How does it feel to be in between life and death? Here is a very interesting story of my older sister. It is some supernatural experience so if you want to hang around, that’ll be fine with me. If not, drop it for today.

My sister is an artist who can’t be compared to anyone. She is very unique and striking individual if you ask me. During when she was in the university in U.S., she dreamed of a place with a round table where they had perhaps 5,6 people around the table and they are all siting down on the chair. Each of them needs to feed the opposite end of the table. If you dislike the person directly across from you, you don’t want to feed them. Now, it is also the same for them. If they think you are a nosy person, they also wouldn’t want to feed you either.

This situation is as even if you don’t like the other person, you need to give respect and look at the person as if you know him better. In this sense, you can treat him like a normal individual.

Well, I hope this was your guidance to your life success. See you soon again on Thursday!

Good afternoon, students!
I am happy to say we are once again, learning in a greatest nurtured program in our school.
Anyhow, how are you all doing? I hope your days are going great.

I am here today to discuss on how to gain respect from the others. Many of us don’t give respect to who deserve them best. However, to gain other people’s respect requires many steps. In order for you to gain the respect from others and not just be “liked” is actually more a priceless gift you ever earn in your life.

Now, let’s start with how you dress everyday. How do you dress for work? How do you dress on the weekend? Are there any difference in how you dress between work and private? I say we should make a difference, especially for women. It is because for men, they will wear suit if necessary but for women, we have varieties of options on how to dress.
Here is a topic on “respect”. Therefore, you might want to consider wearing proper dress which means not to expose too much of your skin. When you do expose your skin excessively, you may keep the guys locked to your body structures but are they going to respect who you are? No, I don’t think so. Some women have a stereotypical thinking where men love woman’s body figure. Of course, it is true but at work atmosphere? No, your body exposure will not support your respect. More also, they will reduce the amount of their respect and it lessen every minutes you are exposing.

We do need to consider how we dress according to where we are. I will be discussing on how to gain others respect for several times from this week until the middle of April. Why? Because it is one of the most important aspects in English communication and to get to the point of their standards, we need to meet their requirements as a person.

Mahalo and see you soon next week!

To my dear S.I:

.:

I would like to write a blog to my student today who lost her beloved parent.
My student is such a beautiful, intelligent, and artistic person who I respect a lot.
She has a great personality which I am sure, the parent supported her to be who she is today.

I have lost my father when I was a little girl. During that time, it was not so much of a pain but misunderstanding of what had happened to my father. When you are young, I think it might be easier to deal with. (It is only my opinion.)

When you lose your parents in your 20s and 30s, it is an eye opener and it seems as though the world is upside down. I can’t feel how she feels right now. All I could do for her is to listen and hear what she needs to say.

Many of us will conceal our distress and wait until it explodes at the end. It seems easier for us not to face the fact sometimes. However, the death will come and goes all through our lives and unfortunately, we can’t do anything about the natural cause. Although we have can’t resist what happens, we can recover from the grieving after sometime is past.

I wish I was there for her when she collapsed on the ground when she heard this news. As I was saying before, I can’t reverse the time. Therefore, I am here to help her in any way. I’ll be in touch with her to check in on her and see how she is doing.

I like to believe that when we lose someone close to us, they will still live through us and give us strength. The time we have spent with those we’ve lost makes them part of us.

S.I., you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please take a good care of yourself and I will look after you in behalf of your parent.

See you soon in Class.

Turn around the table

Today, I‘ve been advised by my good mentors and because of their apt advise, I was able to accomplish and turn the table around to my side.

I am telling you, when you are stuck in the situation, you feel you are in the black hole and no one is there to save you. However, it is not true. If you reach out for the advice, you will get to the end of the tunnel and they will show you your way.

I always question and try to solve the obstacles by myself. Yes, I will get to the point soon or later but if you ask for certain advise, there are people who will give you great amount of ideas. When we twist the situation around, the situation you thought was impossible to handle becomes rather easy to cope!

My mentors are my greatest gifts of all and have you ever thought of your mentor? It can be your significant other, friend, co-worker, and etc. All I am saying is there will be an answer at the end. If you can’t reach the answer, there it is! It is the answer. It is not in my interest and I don’t even have to figure that out!

It is when we reach the point there is nothing you can do, then once again, it is a great answer for you. I’ve reached my answer today and feel so great!!

Even with this unstable weather, I am smiling! I guess, psychological satisfaction will make you even happier and happy thoughts will lead you to a greater happiness! What a great circulation of happiness!

By the way, one of my students was bringing her dog and his name was “Tai”-Kun, I think… He was so cute and so patient!!! Very very smart dog and I really love it so much!! I wish I had a dog like that…

I am having a perfect day and I tell you, feel free and happy! Remember, the happiness can come around if you reach out for it and hope for it!

Mahalo and have a great holiday!!

Reading and Learning

Good afternoon, fellow students. How are you all doing this afternoon?
I just finished the seminar and came back to my office. As usual, I attended the business seminar.

Today, I would like to discuss about what I read in the book yesterday. It starts off like this…

There was a Jew victim at the concentration camp in Germany. He was tortured and harmed physically and psychologically at the same time. Most of his family was killed by the Nazi army. However, in these inhuman and brutal circumstances, he miraculously was able to survive and live his life even after the war.

How? Yes, we are more aroused to hear about how he survived. During the time when he was at the camp, he detached himself from the physical pain and put himself into the world of peace in his mental stage. He knew in the state of mind, no one can harm him and he was safe in that stage.

I still wonder, if the circumstances are that devastated and you walk on the path between life and death, can we actually be able to think in a different level in our mind. Of course, he has proven that this is possible but yet, since we don’t experience these kinds of circumstances, is it still possible to think and separate your inner core from the external outcome?

I will add one more detail and we are pau (finish) for today’s blog.
I was an elementary school during that time when I went to pay a visit to the exhibition to see what have the Nazi done to Jews. I was still perhaps… 10 years old. My parent took me to this exhibition to experience the “fact”. It was one of the staggering experiences I’ve ever got during that time. It also made me want to read Anne Frank: the diary of a young girl. Of course, it made me think about life. It made me think if I was the one who was hiding in the house, what kind of a person I would’ve been.

Coming back to the exhibition, I saw the Jew’s hair neatly knit to make the blanket. I don’t know if my children were born and I would let them see this kind of cruel history to them in their young age…

Well, I am not quite sure how it affected me but one thing for sure; I will not waste my life and live a full life.

Mahalo and see you soon next week!

What’s going on today?

Good evening, students in all over the world!
Today, I was feeling to wake up awfully early this morning which has been a rare case and phenomena starting this year for me but once again, I give a lot of credit to the saying of “early bird gets the worm” and which inspired me to push myself to wake up early this morning.

When you see the beautiful morning sky, (obviously, since I was up before the sunrise, it was still pitch dark outside) getting brighter and brighter, you feel “today is arrived…” The morning glory fascinates me magnificently.

What do you do in the morning? What do I do in the morning? Now, today, after I woke up, I was eager to clean the refrigerator for no reason. Out of clear blue sky, I thought of cleaning it and after that, I made Vanilla Kona Coffee for my husband and myself.

As I drank this remarkably tasty coffee, I suddenly realized I need to study and the offer is handed down to me as if it is destining to be followed.

By the way, the funniest thing is that I am not a big fan for coffee and just as I made the coffee on the coffeemaker, I flashbacked the coffee commercial which I saw in U.S. every morning. In this commercial, a wife wakes up first by removing the blanket out of her and gets up. The scene slides to the kitchen showing her hand opening the coffee package and inhaling the fresh coffee into her lung.

When the coffeemaker makes the dripping sound with an irresistible smell of coffee, the husband can’t stand still in the bed and come to the kitchen to have a coffee and joins the wife and they smile at each other.

What a morning commercial! Looking back to my own life, I’ve gone through quite a lot of unique pathways. Well, I am actually writing this down from the morning and am going to help me to sort what I have to do today.

Now, I want to let you know, it took me a while to write a blog today but I’ve already finished the draft in the morning.

Once again, procrastination is the last thing you need to do. Don’t you agree? My small bit of accomplishments for today is gradually coming to the end and I feel half way satisfied.

So what was the purpose of your life today? Is it to get up in the morning? Is it to take shower after work? Or is it to give hands to needy people?

Well, let me know what you have been doing in the morning to feel refreshed and rejuvenated.

Mahalo and see you soon on Thursday!

Oh...We lost…

It is unfortunate that we lost on girls’ soccer tournament. We didn’t have Miss. Sawa also so it was extremely burdensome for the players I’m sure.

However, they made up to 3 goals… As far as their soccer ability goes, there’s little to choose between them. However, Nike was on their side sadly…

I am sure this tournament will let them practice even harder for the next game and that’s what we are looking forward to so I say it is a good lost. They have another issue to consider for the next game.

Speaking of sports, I think I am going to watch the girls’ soccer game in Okinawa this month. I hope we will have a fine weather on the game day. I wonder where they are having the game at… Hopefully it is closer to where I live.

I will start reading the issue on Rush Limbaugh who I admire and give a credit to.
I will let you know the result tomorrow and give you an insight!

How are you all this afternoon? I am doing just fine and finished several classes today.
Today, I want to say thank you to one of the very proper and nice women, H.U. for seedless grapes she brought yesterday.

Coincidentally, I met my student, H.U. yesterday at the afternoon tea in Pallet Kumoji department store. My husband and I were there to eat early supper. When we were about to finish and having orange earl gray tea, I saw my student coming in to the restaurant. She didn’t recognize me so I went to pay a visit after we finished drinking the tea.

She looked rather surprised and properly introduced her husband to us and her husband stood up and bowed at our direction. He is as well as my student, very courteous and nice person. We chat a little and we left. The next day, which was yesterday, she brought these grapes for me to eat with my husband!

Last week, one of my students told me, I have a good student. However, I believe giving something equals to a good student is not true. Not to brag about myself but I believe doing many good deeds will invite many happiness. I say, gifts will create happiness. It makes you smile and feel warm inside. These kinds of cycles will continue in a very fortunate ways.

I started to get free calendars from the convenience stores or the pallet Kumoji department and tape them on the wall at my office. I am so sorry to change the subject all of the sudden but every month, I try to renew the wall with my creativities. These will help me to focus and feel reinvigorate. Changing is one of the standard rules to make a revolution in your own life.

What have you changed within this three months since 2012 started? Have you ever thought about things you need to change? You can change in your own mind but it is always easier to change your near future by telling someone you would do it. Why? So you can control what needs to be changed.

Well, let me know what you think about today’s blog and try to write comments!
Mahalo and have a great week of March!

Earthquake

Aloha to you all, my students!
Today is Tuesday and March is around the corner!

Today, I just wanted to ask if all of you felt Yesterday’s earthquake around perhaps… 3 or 4 A.M... It was pretty scary!!! I was sleeping and just before it happened, I woke up for some reason. I don’t know, I guess I can tell some awkward moment was coming? I really don’t know for sure.

Talking about the earthquake, we recently was struck by the earthquake and was compelled to deal with the situation. So what have we learn from the past? We can’t fight the nature.

However, we can at least prevent things happening in advance. If we prepare for the devastated matter before hand, we might survive with a dent of disaster, perhaps. In order to prepare for the worse, we need to know what we need to do.

The earthquake is followed by the Tsunami. We built several seawalls which were unfortunately useless this time. There was a new greatest idea about growing forest around the shore. I believe this might be good not only for the earth but also for human nature. We will have condensed air around us all the time if this project succeeds in our near future.

Trees are the protectors of human kind and producing great amount of air on earth. How else anyone could live on this earth if we didn’t have trees. Therefore, we will continue to protect and use the ecology to prepare for what’s coming.

Hopefully, you have a chance to think about how to prevent the disaster and if there are anything we could do now, let me know! I love to hear the opinions!

Well, have a great Tuesday evening and love you all, my students!

I saw an interesting article on The New York Times today.
Russian scientists, Svetlana Yashina and David Gilichinsky have discovered an ancient lupine seeds that was found near by the Yukon gold miner.

Many of the seeds couldn’t survive because of the weather conditions. For example, they plant the puppy seeds on the temperature of 7 degrees Celsius and after 160 years later, only 2 percent of the seeds were able to germinate. (P2 Dr. Murdoch)

It is astounding news because compare to living campion that can propagate from the older cell was only 90 percent. From the ancient seeds, they succeeded 100 percent to germinate and clone them with three of the placentas.

Unfortunately, our lives don’t last this long and as I have mentioned earlier, Dr. Gilichinksy has passed away recently from the heart attack… What a tragedy…

However, I believe if the ancient campion can be germinated in a right condition, this would be a striking discovery for our generation. As for now, we do not know the details so when this discovery is complete, I am sure this would change our lives in various ways.

As for now, what kind of discovery have we found? Do you know? If so, let me know!
Mahalo for today and have a great Thursday night!! It is a nice day!!!

Baseball season!

Did you know that there are many professional baseball players in Okinawa this month? They are coming to Okinawa to practice. Not only the practice but they also have some games in Okinawa.

My good American friend seems to be addicted to baseball. Instead of going out with his girl-friends on Valentine’s Day, he went to watch the game in Nago. Wow, I think he really loves the baseball game and can you believe he stays outside for more than three hours just to watch the game. Maybe I am missing something. I think I need to ask him what makes him this addicted to baseball. I know the basic rules but I don’t know the details so next time when I see him, I will ask him about the baseball.

Well, dear my students, I just wonder, if you play any sports or do you exercise? Now a day, there is a yoga meditation. I love yoga. Do you do Yoga? It is very popular all over the world and I think it should be because I believe it is stunningly healthy exercise!! It does not only exercise your body muscles but it also fluctuate your brain system. When I do Yoga, I feel tremendously relaxed and as if I just got out of the shower. It is that refreshing for me!!

Now, so for yourself, it doesn’t actually have to be sports, but does any of the things you do makes you feel rejuvenated and you can embrace the full energy from the things you do?

I also love to take a bath. When you take a bath, it does not only freshen me up but also getting rid of the daily yucky and filthy air out of your body. When you think about that, the water works like a magic weapon! Water will take away the entire negative and pessimistic aura out of your body automatically. I say it is a humongous invention for human kind. Not all the animals know the water will purify your body. Therefore, I say, use the water wisely. The water that we use daily is draining out every day. In order for us to save some water, it depends on us how we use them. It will also be indispensable for the next generation and that’s followed.

Meaningful wit needs to be used to think ahead and walk toward the future is necessary for our human evolution.

Think about your future and when you think about the future, what kind of future do you want to live in? I hope your future is what you are expecting to be. However, without any efforts, we will not have any future.

Therefore, I believe communication, especially worldwide communication which is English is critical to all of us to learn. All the great studies and scientific knowledge are written in English. Since it is the universal language, we write in English. If you can’t read English, you will be way behind the latest technologies and etc.

Thus, learn English now and laugh later. Just by speaking in English, you will change your life and have a great experience.

See you soon again tomorrow!

hallelujah!!

Another gift from my student!!!

What is this week??? I am receiving many gifts this week!!
This time, I got a cheese cake from my other student!

Thank you so much, my fellow students!!! You guys are awesome! You really didn’t need to do that but you made me a happiest person in the whole world!!

I believe receiving a gift from someone is always special, especially someone who you respect.

It was a nice surprise for me and since I had such a rough week, last week, these kinds of surprise gifts were extremely honored and delightful event for me!

So have you been giving gifts to anyone? Of course, in my case, I received gifts from my precious and sweet students but what about you?

Valentine’s Day is passed and did you give a Valentine’s chocolate to anyone? For my school, I made my students to write letters to someone who they think on Valentine’s Day. Many of them wrote a lot of gratifying words to someone who they respect.

Gifts, it is something you can’t get by money. I believe when you give someone a pleasure, or make someone comfortable, you sometimes receive gifts for return. However, when you are not expecting a gift and receive them, it is a total surprise! This will definitely make your day for sure!!

Think about it. When did you last get the gift from anyone? Do you give gift? For my personal opinion, by having human relationship and living your life with many other people, you get to be friends and co-workers. Family also comes next and it is not least but last. Even families can surprise you! My oldest sister, now I think about it, gave me a pair of shoes early this month. It was somewhat small for her so she gave me the shoes. However, I wasn’t expecting any gifts so I didn’t know what to say but thanked her.

It seems like a Christmas for me this month! I guess a good fortune comes around later and which is nice…

My student, initial A.U, gave me a gift and I will share it with you today! I bet this will also make you happy and smile! I know you will and be always sweet, A.U.!!! You are my hero and very very special… You make me want to meet you again soon and smile!! You have such an interesting characteristic which no one can imitate.

See you soon all in class and welcome a good fortune and leave the negative air out of your sight. Have a cool Thursday everyone!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Today is a Valentine’s Day!
Are you all going out today for dinner? Maybe you are keeping the special day until this weekend because you need to work?

As for myself, I have to work today and therefore, I am postponing my celebration until the end of this month.

Interestingly, my cousin has sent me gifts. I received it today. There were several text books that she is using in her own school. She also wrote me 2 letters. One of them was the explanation on the text book and the other one was the Christmas card. (Which is somewhat late but I forgive her.)

What a nice surprise! She has an interesting way of using her timing. I admire my cousin and now she is working at a school and she teaches English to physically challenging students.

I believe it is also challenging for the teachers to teach disable people but my cousin is trying very hard and when you use your effort to change the life of someone, I say you caused a revolution. However, when you give up even before you try, I say you are frozen at the point of your life. Unless you move on to speak and change the life, you will always end up in the same spot as you last remember.

I personally don’t want to regret of not making actions so to speak. Therefore, I will make an action to see the glimpse of my life in the near future.

Yesterday, I have received a Valentine chocolate from my student. This gift that she gave me, I would've probably never gotten this gift if I’ve never met her before and if she happens to have different values. However, fortunately, she came to my school and she is my precious students of all. To tell you the truth, you never know until you actually speak with the person and understand the situation of what kind of life this person is having.

Obviously, we are not all psychics so we can’t see their lives until we ask them. Providentially, we have a mouth. We can speak and ask what kind of personality the opponent has. Not like animals, we can understand each other and share our thoughts to have similarities.

When you know the opponent in depth, you are more likely to want to understand more about this person and start another interesting and stimulus conversation. We do need to use our senses too, of course. As we speak with the person, we can have closer and intimate relationships without romantic connection.

What make people interested?
I think we come to the point of this. What make you want to have a conversation in the first place?
Think about this and feel free to write your opinions!

Mahalo and have a beautiful Tuesday evening, students!

Unforgiving accident

Last month, my student’s good friend’s student has passed away because the driver didn’t notice the red light.

The compact car hit the bus and the husband died instantly. After 2 to 3 weeks later, the student who were siting in the back seat passed away unfortunately.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to passing away of the student. I am sure the boy will be in a good place.

Can you believe he was only 15 years old? I am twice his age and I can’t imagine myself not being in this world by 15…

I am sure the driver can’t regret more than ever of what she has done. It is a torture on both sides: parents who lost their son, a parent who lost her husband and the social respect.

In order for us not to slide by the vital reasons why the student needed to pass away, we must accept the situation.

We need to accept what is asked of us. I believe driving carefully is the key to understand his death. We need to be very careful as to how to drive. We also need to appreciate we are alive today.

Think of the time you are spending today. How are you spending your time? Use the time wisely and remember, there is no guarantee to our lives.

Be always thankful of why we are living and how we are able to make the day better and precious.

Please think of who are left in this world and whoever is left to this world, we must hug them and give our love so that they feel they are worth living.

See you soon again!

Good evening!

Today, I will discuss on my dental experience.

I had a root canal the other day at the dentist.
It was painful and this pain was too severe that I took it out on the elevator!
I was waiting for the elevator and if it is a casual day, I am pretty sure I have enough patience to wait. However, with this indescribable pain, I can’t believe myself but I took it out on the elevator! I just couldn’t wait and felt extremely agitated with itchiness and weird feeling of my mouth.

Do you have a time when you feel frustrated that you want to take it out on someone or something?

I did for the first time… I couldn’t believe my own behavior but then now, I know the reason why someone who is in the hospital for a while with unknown illness could get cranky sometimes…

You just can’t do anything. You can’t fight this pain. I had 5 procaine shots to deal with my intolerable pain.

Fortunately, after I am finally received from my heavy load of pain, I had no pain after all. Only for a couple of hour and I had no to deal with. I kept on thinking I need to visit the dentist soon but when I finally went to the hospital, I experience such pain.

I did it to myself anyway but I felt I need to take better care of my teeth from now on…

I now have a better understanding of many things. I’ve learned a good lesson this time.

I hope you had an incredible experience this month also.

I will see you again soon.
